This expedition is for the more adventurous photographer. Whether you are a beginner or advanced photographer, this expedition will excite and challenge you. It is a chance to not only photograph the stunning Altai Mountains of Western Mongolia, but you will also be immersed in the culture and traditions of the Kazakh Eagle Hunters.
On our expedition, we will join an Eagle Hunter and his family as they migrate with their herd of horses, goat and cattle high into the Altai Mountains. We will travel on foot with support vehicles close by. Stu will run a series of sessions during the trip and will be on hand to offer advice and tips during the migration. Local guides and an International Mountain Leader will also join us; they will ensure that your safety is paramount during the expedition.
This is an expedition like no other, temperatures regularly reach sub-zero and night time temperatures can reach as low as -30 degrees centigrade. Due to the nature of this expedition, those interested will be invited to take part in a brief conversation via Skype, this will establish whether if this expedition is for you and if you are suitable to undergo a journey of this nature.
So why not come and join us on this epic journey, challenge yourself and test your photographic limits. This is a chance to experience a way of life that has remained the same for thousands of years in one of the most remote parts of the planet. And I know once you have been to Mongolia you will want to come back again and again.
